I am the Senior Operations Director at a Dermatologic Non-Hospital Surgical Facility. I have worked professionally with Meditek in purchasing a stretcher and a transfer board for our clinic. I am excited to be able to share our experiences with Meditek.  I work with Korle Nu Neuroscience Foundation (KBNF) in Vancouver.  We ship medical equipment and supplies to hospitals and clinics in West Africa.  Shortly after I started with KBNF, we were offered an OR table which needed some repairs.  Brad and his team at Meditek in Manitoba offered to repair the table for free if we could get it there.  A couple of carriers graciously offered to transport the table there and back.  Meditek was true to their word and repaired the table, even throwing in the needed table cushions.  That table is now in an upgraded surgery room in a hospital in Ghana.  This week, Brad contacted us again and arranged for us to have 3 OR tables which are fully functional, but no longer needed in Canada - these will be shipped after Christmas to hospitals in West Africa that need them.  I have just come back from Liberia and I can confirm that the generosity and compassion of people like Brad and his team are making an amazing difference in the lives of these people.  Thoughtfulness like this is critical to improving the healthcare in West Africa.  Kudos to Brad and his team for all their work to help those less fortunate!  Thank you!!
