After nine months of construction, we are thrilled to announce that Meditek is officially moving. Our new headquarters at 94 Nicola Drive, Headingley isn’t just a change of address; it is a reflection of our growth and our renewed commitment to supporting Canadian healthcare professionals.

Here is a behind-the-scenes look at the journey of building our new facility.

Phase 1: Laying the Foundation

Every great project starts with a solid base. In early spring, we broke ground in Headingley. While it looked like just mud and machinery at the time, this stage was critical for establishing the footprint of our expanded warehouse and logistics capabilities.

Phase 2: The Structure Takes Shape

By summer, the steel was going up. This was the most exciting phase visually, as we saw the true scale of the building come to life. The high ceilings in the warehouse area were designed specifically to accommodate larger inventory levels of surgical tables, lights, and booms.

Phase 3: Interior Work

Once the exterior shell was secure, the focus turned inward. This phase involved transforming the concrete floor and steel beams into a modern, collaborative workspace designed to optimize our workflow.

Today, we are putting the final touches on the interior. The design philosophy was simple: create a modern, efficient space that fosters collaboration for our team and provides a welcoming environment for our partners.

Our new reception area represents the modern face of Meditek—clean, professional, and ready for business. To support the team that supports you, we’ve also included dedicated spaces for collaboration and wellness such as a lounge area for co-working and a gym facility.
