About the Optimaxx Surgical Headlight

Meditek’s Optimaxx surgical headlights include a number of advanced features designed to improve comfort and convenience for busy doctors and their support staff. The Optimaxx is one of the only surgeon headlight to offer:

• Heat-dispensing technology: The patented design of the Optimaxx surgeon headlight features a reduced bezel size and low-temperature LED. This results in a product that stays cool and comfortable without the need for a fan or external cooling system.
• Battery pack: The Optimaxx comes with two lithium polymer battery packs that can be switched out easily on the fly. Good for between seven and nine hours of dedicated use, the Optimaxx won’t lose brightness as its battery drains.
• Lightweight: By integrating the unit’s battery and electronics into its head strap, the Optimaxx offers a truly portable solution that weighs just 11 oz. (300 grams). It doesn’t require the use of a strap-on battery pack.
