QA4 Stretcher/Surgery Table:
The QA4 has cutting edge technology that answers an emerging need in Canada – day surgery. It can be used as a stretcher, operating table and chair. The design of the QA4 allows hospitals to use their existing accessories. The QA4 is really a perfect solution for those facilities that may not have the capital for a surgery table.
QA3 Stretcher:
What really sets the QA3 apart from other stretchers is the fact that one person can do all the functions from the head end of the stretcher. The trendelenburg position can be done from any height. There is no bar around the stretcher which means closer access to patients and easy transferability.
QA5 Bariatric Stretcher:
The QA5 is wider than any other stretcher on the market, and yet still fits through a standard 40” doorway. The QA5 powered top allows for easier movement of the patient and goes low enough that patients can get on and off the stretcher easily.

Meditek is committed to bringing in innovative solutions to the Canadian health care market. The QA4 has cutting edge technology that answers an emerging need in Canada: Day surgery.
It can be used as a stretcher. It can be used as an operating table, and it can be used as a chair.
The side rails on the stretcher allow the facility to use their existing accessories, which enables them to do many different surgeries. For arm and hand surgery work, the facility can use their existing arm and hand surgery table on the side rails. One of the things that’s unique about the foot end is that it’s light and easy to take on and off. For urology work, you can easily clamp on a urology drain bag. There’s a ophthalmic headrest available to replace the standard headrest. This head rest holds the patients head in place for the surgeon. The QA4 is really a perfect solution for those facilities that may not have the capital for a surgery table.
Meditek went coast-to-coast to many facilities to find their challenges with their existing transport stretchers. The QA3 brings a solution to those challenges. What really sets a QA3 apart from other stretchers is the fact that one person can do all the functions from the head end of the stretcher. Unlike other stretchers the trendelenburg position can be done from any height even at the lowest point. And that’s a great safety feature for patients.
The fifth wheel has a release mechanism that releases when it goes over a bump, taking the jarring out of the head, neck, and shoulders. This mattress has been independently tested for 23 hours for pressure points. Other stretchers on the market have a bar around the stretcher, keeping the care provider away from the patient. The QA3 is designed for closer patient access and there’s high a transferability up against a bed or a surgery table. This stretcher has the highest weight capacity for a transport stretcher in Canada.
Today in Canada, there are more and more bariatric patients. The QA5 is wider than any other stretcher on the market and yet still fits through a standard 40 inch doorway. The QA5 power top allows for easier movement of the patient, which means less staff injuries. Height is always a concern when it comes to bariatric patients. The Q5A goes low enough that patients can get on and off the stretcher without injuries. At Meditek, we understand that our clients are passionate about their work, their staff members, and their patients.
We get a deep sense of satisfaction in providing innovative solutions to meet their needs.
